Why are Communities important?
Communities are people who share a common disorder, like depression or anxiety, and who meet together to discuss their experiences, share ideas, and provide emotional support for one another. Unlike formal group therapy, self-help support groups are usually not led by a professional therapist (such as a social worker, psychologist, nurse, or psychiatrist) but nevertheless can be a helpful coping tool to complement formal treatment.
Can I go Anonymous?
YES. Anonymity is respected by ALL in Healthy Minds Matter. We RESPECT your decision and make sure your privacy is maintained throughout the process.
All of our Communities respect and understand your privacy and don't require you to share your private information. Listening is an important part of being in a Community, much more than it is to share.
